Giving intructions is giving command,intructions,imperative what give someone to other people about something and can gasped at statement or practice.
The characteristics of giving intructions :
1. Use imperative sentence
2. Use infinitive without to
3. Use noun an can use please word for softening statement.
Example of giving intruction :

• Please do the excercise on page 12.
• Move the chair !

1. Pattern : Infinitive+noun(open your book.)

2. Pattern : Be+adj(be quite)

3. For express a prohibition or forbiud use :

Pattern : Do+not+Verb Infinitive without to(don't climb)

4. For softening statement you can put the word "please" at the beginning or at the end of an intructions.

Pattern : Please+V1+noun(Please sit down)
