Goals and Objectives :
After selecting and reading a book independently,students will create a paper bag book report using an ordinary paper bag. Students should choose five-seven items to place in the bag to represent significant events or characters from the book. For example, “ Goldilocks and the Three Bears” might call for a soupspoon, a thermometer, a piece of dollhouse furniture, an add for running shoes,etc. Students,after filling and decorating their bags,present them to the class. Each students should explain how the items he or she has chosen to the book. This makes for a fun oral presentation which exceeds the traditional book report for the presenter and the audience.
Lesson Concepts and Materials :
Independent book selection,independent reading,analysis of plot,character and/or theme,oral presentation.

The Legend of
Once upon a time, there was a king and queen who lived in the
Shortly, the queen’s dream became reality, she deliverd a beautiful baby girl. The king name her, Komala. She grew up as a pretty girl. However, she had bad attitude, because her parents spoiled her to much.
One day, Komala heard her parents were talking about the turtle in her mother’s dream. She thought that the turtle was very interesting animal, so she wanted it as her pet. She insisted find it and the king allowed he took for the animal.
Accompained with the king’s guard, Komala searched the turtle,and finally,she found it in a beach, she shouted to it “ Penyu Busuk wait for me” in several time, but the turtle keep swimming. Komala ran after it into the sea. She tried to catch it, until then sea finally drowned and disappeared ang all of her guards could not save her. Now, people can the beach penusuk.
Analysis Characters
1. Komala : she is spoiled and obstinate.
2. King : Good well and kind.
3. Queen : Good well.
Theme : Imagination story.
